PREAMBLE
WHEREAS it is desired that the quality assurance practitioners from higher education institutions in East Africa come together to form a network to contribute towards the promotion of quality higher education in the region;
CONVINCED that through sharing of experiences, expertise and resources the members of the network will contribute to the promotion of quality higher education in the region;
Now the quality assurance practitioners assembled in Entebbe on the 17th Day of May 2012 DO HEREBY RESOLVE to form, by this Constitution, the East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN) hereinafter referred to as the Network.
