Dr Amaal has a Certificate of Honorary PhD Doctor of Philosophy in Social & Humanitarian Studies (All Nations Bible Institution & Projects- South Africa), DIES/CREST Online Training Course for Supervisors of Doctoral Candidates at African Universities (Stellenbosch University, South Africa). She has Doctorate of Business Administration, CUM LAUDE (Finance Major) USA, Master of Business Administration (Finance and Accounting) of Makerere University, and Bachelor of Arts in Education of Islamic University in Uganda.
Since September 2009 to date, she has headed the Quality Assurance Directorate from various Universities. She is a trained Quality Assurance Officer with the Inter-University Council of East Africa in collaboration with DAAD Germany. She is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Management Studies -Finance and Accounting Department at IUIU and has taught at the Masters level and supervised research over 100 students to completion. She is a member of the Association of African Universities. A founder member of both Ugandan Universities Quality Assurance Forum (UUQAF)- Treasurer UUQAF and East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN).
