Kihumulo Grace Patrick is the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning Enhancement at Kepler, with over 8 years of experience in administration, teaching, research and quality assurance in in higher education. Prior to joining Kepler, he served as the Director of Quality Assurance and Lecturer of Procurement and Logistics at KIM University, where he has provided leadership in key areas of accreditation, academic quality assurance and he has been able to manage both institutional and programme accreditation process in accordance with the established laws and standards set by the regulators at national and regional level.
He is the founding member and the first Chairperson of Rwanda Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (RWAQAN), once Country Representative – Rwanda at EAQAN (2016-2018). He has experience working in the East African countries, with extensive experience working in Rwanda and Uganda. Patrick is a member of two Technical Committee at Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) that is RSB/TC 014 on Quality Management and Quality Assurance and RSB/TC 033 on Tourism and Hospitality.
Patrick holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Strategic Management from Mount Kenya University, and a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Procurement & Logistics Management from Uganda Christian University. He is currently pursuing a professional certificate of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)-UK and also working on research proposal in preparation for a PhD in Procurement & Supply Chain Management at University of Rwanda (UR).
His key competencies include Higher Education Quality Assurance, Accreditation, ISO 900:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), Curriculum Review and Development, QMS Auditing, and Teaching and Research.
