Prof. Paul Muoki Nzioki is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at Murang’a University of Technology, Kenya. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Business Economics (Finance), Master of Commerce, (Accounts and Law) and Bachelor of Commerce.
Prof. Nzioki is currently the Dean, School of Business and Economics at Murang’a University of Technology. He previously served as the Director, Quality Assurance and Standards at Laikipia University and the founder Dean, School of Business in the same University. Prof. Nzioki has taught in Universities since 2006. On various occasions, Prof. Nzioki has been appointed to stand-in for Deputy Vice Chancellors both in Laikipia University and Murang’a University of Technology.
Prof. Nzioki has won research grants out of which four were to implement quality assurance related activities within Universities in Kenya. He has research interest in the area of Accounting and Finance with over twenty publications in peer reviewed journals.
Since 2007, Prof. Nzioki has attended and facilitated over thirty quality assurance related trainings within East Africa. He has widely been engaged, by Commission for University Education (CUE), Kenya and the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA), in quality assurance activities in Universities within East Africa.
Prof. Nzioki is the President, East Africa Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN). He has been active member of EAQAN since the network’s inception in 2012. Between the year 2016 and 2018, Prof. Nzioki successively served the EAQAN as the Finance Secretary.
