Experience:Sr Lucy Dora Akello is a Higher Education lecturer from Uganda. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa; Master of Education in Language and Literature Education from Makerere University and currently is pursuing a PhD in Pedagogy in the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.She has been engaged in university education since 2006 and has continued to serve higher education in Uganda to date. She has had a number of training in Quality Assurance within Uganda and at the East African Region.

Sr Lucy Dora Akello is currently the Director of Quality Assurance at Uganda Martyrs University. She is one of the founder member of the Ugandan Universities Quality Assurance Forum (UUQAF) and also severed as the first General Secretary of UUQAF and now as the General Secretary of the East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN)
