Institutional Membership
To be eligible for EAQAN membership, a university, university college, or other diploma or degree-awarding institution shall:

Be registered and recognized by a Competent Authority to operate in the Partner State.

Have a functional quality assurance system.

Must be a member of the EAQAN National Chapter in the host partner state.
Individual Membership
To be eligible for EAQAN membership, a university academic staff member, quality assurance practitioner, or senior management from public and private Universities in the EAC shall:

Must be a member of the EAQAN National Chapter in the host partner state.

Be nominated by his/her university and EAQAN National Chapter leadership.
